Lovin' our Weekends!

Our weekends are just the best! We have such a busy work week....it is so nice to do family stuff on the weekends and just hang out with each other. IT'S IMPORTANT!!! This weekend we started out with Friday night dinner...Mexican food! Our favorite!!! Then we headed over to the Jumping Jungle for some jumping time. They have open jump night on Friday from 5 to 9. We paid 8 dollars for jumping time and a snack. NOT a bad activity! Evan loves it! I have picture below. Marti slept the whole time. Saturday morning Evan and I fixed eggs and toast. Then I had to run up to school for a minute(good thing its just 2 blocks away) while the kiddos and Cory took a nap. Later that afternoon, we decided to go to the library and let Evan check out a few books. NOT that he doesn't have his own library at our house. But I think its important that he know how to check out and find books. Plus, its just fun!! I am simple!!! LOVE BOOKS!! Can you say TEACHER!! After that we headed to the grocery store and then home to cook some hotdogs on the grill. Nothing like a good ole hotdog and football on a Saturday night. Sunday was church.....there is nothing like the name of Jesus on your child's lips and to hear him sing and know who he is sing to/about!!! Thank you Jesus!! After church we made pizza and snuggled on the couch for more football. Lovely Sunday!! Tomorrow Cory is on his way to Austin to take his Master Test. He is going to do GREAT!!! He is ready!! Send up a few prayers for our family. He will be back Wednesday! Hope you have a wonderful week!

GREAT WEEKEND!!

We had a wonderful weekend full of family time!! Here are a few cute pictures of the kiddos and some pictures from our weekend.

Friday night we went out for pizza! Evan LOVES pizza!

Then we headed to the Halloween shop to hunt for the kids a costume.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great Labor Day Weekend! We had tons of family time...shopping, playing games, yard work, and a cookout. We headed over to Odessa Saturday to cookout with Josh, Brandy and the kids. We had so much FUN! We always have a blast when we get together and the kids wear each other out!

Don't Know What to Write or Type (whatever)

This has really been a weird week (so far) for me. Have you ever had a day where you feel NOT like yourself? Well, I am having one of those weeks. Every thing is pretty normal around the house and work and we are all good. I just feel a little off my game this week. I truly have so much on my mind that I think it has taken over my body too. Exhausted!! I feel change coming on.....not that that is a bad thing. I did have a few moments this past weekend that I just sat still........CHURCH!! If you have ever been to church with us you know what an awesome service we have, this Sunday was no different. I truly think it was better than awesome!! Hearing our church sing the words to this song was something amazing. Hearing the words of this songs makes me want to dance and SHOUT.......

A Crazy BUSY Week

I know its been a WEEK! I have been so busy with the first week of school. The days flew by and to be quiet honest bedtime came quiet early!!! But all in all it was a very good week, I have a great group of kiddos. On top of having a busy week.....the weekend is not much better. I once heard someone say, "You are as busy as you want to be." Well... WE are about to start cutting back on being BUSY!!!! When I come home from school and on the weekends all I want to do is hang out with Cory and the kiddos! Time is very precious!!! So if my post get far and few between, know that I am spending precious time with my family! Blogging was so much easier when I was not working. Wow! Where did the week go?

Is it me or did this week go by super fast!?! I had so many meetings, all I did this week was run around town. We also had meet the teacher, which is always super fun. Marti was sick on Friday with a stomach bug.......still not completely over it. Evan is still having tummy issues, he will propbably have to go to the doctor sometime this week. We have had to call the doctor/nurse ever couple of days to fill her in on Evan.......its still not better so they will want to see him next week. I have really been missing my kiddos this past week.....all the late nights of getting my classroom ready. But it is over now.......We had a great Saturday morning! We went to breakfast, went to some of our favorite shops and then had lunch. Cory and kiddos went home to nap and I had a FEW things to finish up at school. NO MORE school for me on the weekend!! I am really for the first week of school! We did find a few cool items......

finished with it! Perfect for our two little ones! Evan was so excited!!
