This will be the first of many post about our vacation. I have a ton of pictures to share! We have been back about a week now-still trying to adjust to the time zone. We had a AMAZING time! So here we go...
Saturday, June 2nd - I had to work at school for a couple of hours and as soon as they said we could leave, I was OUT OF THERE. We met up with Josh and Brandy on the interstate and headed for Tucson, AZ. We stopped around 12:30 to have a picnic lunch and stretch. It was so much fun! Then we loaded up (made a FEW more stops) and made are way to Tucson, AZ. We got there about 9:00 Texas time. We unpacked the cars, found our rooms, got a bite to eat and walked around this beautiful resort. LOOK AT THOSE MOUNTAINS!
Sunday - We got up ate breakfast, walked around some more (with sunlight), and then got ready for the pool. We spent the day by the pool, had a wonderful nap, and then got dressed for a lovely dinner out.
Monday-We ate breakfast, packed the cars up, and headed out for Anaheim,CA.

LOVE seeing Tucson in your pictures! Isn't the El Conquistador awesome? Blake and I have been there to play golf a couple of times, and our friend worked their as a masseuse! I'm sure it was hot, but the Catalina's are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI thought about you and knew you would love the mountain views. We loved El Conquistador. I think we will make a trip back just to stay there again. On our way back from California we stayed at the Omni Resort and really liked that one too. Not as kid friendly, but very nice.
