Snuggling with the Princess

I must say......I LOVE staying home even thought Marti and I are sick. Cory is feeling much better and headed to work and Evan is at school. I went to the doctor yesterday and have some virus that is causing my skin to break out. I am feeling a little better today, but the medicine is making me nauseous. Poor baby girl is so sick, all I can do is hold her. She will see the doctor today at 1:30. She is laying in her bed resting right now.....see how long that last. I am snuggled up in the big computer chair with a blanket and all my favorite things around me. I have a glass of unsweet tea, books, magazines, journal, and all my favorite blogs. The TV is on in the background with reruns of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (you know you like to watch it too). It was on the cooking channel, but that was not helping my tummy issue. Isn't it funny how you can feel nauseous and every food thing comes on. I will leave you with a few new quotes I wrote in my journal this morning. Then I am going to squeeze a nap in before the doctor.

"Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful."

"Don't be sad that it is over, but happy that it happened."

"The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

"The difference between a dream and a goal is a PLAN."

"Things which matter MOST must never be at the mercy of things which matter least."

"What would you attempt if you knew you could not FAIL."

"Life is simple. Everything happens for you, not to you. Everything happens at exactly the right moment, neither too soon nor too late. You don't have to like it....its just easier if you do."

"You can either run from it or learn from it."

Love theses!

"Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down."

(Great one from one of our friends on Facebook)
Food for thought:
When it comes to your marriage if the grass looks greener on the other side, then its time to water your own yard!

I will end with this one:

Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes? But when you look back everything is different! (So True!)

Nap Time!
